During
this meeting, we conduct group business and discuss upcoming
activities, events and service projects. We also devote time to fun
activities, guest speakers, discussions on parenting, or just enjoy each
other's company.
Playgroups
We
have playgroups made up of member with children who are within 1 year
of age. These groups meet weekly and are organized by their playgroup
leaders. Playgroups offer kids the opportunity to meet and play with
children of similar ages and allow moms to meet and chat.
Service Projects
Joining
the MOMS Club is a great way to get involved in the community! We run
various service projects throughout the year that allow our moms to give
their time and energy to worthy charities in the area. Recently, we
have collected supplies for a nearby school and we have participated in
toy, clothing and toiletry drives for local groups serving the needy.
Sunshine Committee
Members of this group provide meals to other members who have recently had babies, or who may be going through a difficult time.
Mom's Night Out
What
mom doesn't need a night out? Every so often, we get together for a
little rejuvenating MOM time. Some of out Mom's Night Out outings have
included a dinner out, a game night and a after hours pedicures at one of our favorite spots.
Holiday Parties
We celebrate special times of the year
with a variety of holiday parties and activities. The parties are safe
and fun opportunities for the children to celebrate holidays with their
moms and friends.
